J. CARL McABEE - President, Distribution Founder

With over 17 years in the print media industry, and retired from the U.S. Air Force, the original founder of Media Solutions Group understands the importance of leading organized efforts and working together as a team. Having actually participated in the daily aspects of production, printing and/or distribution during the original conception of numerous local publications still in existence, Carl offers a unique understanding of the Southern Arizona marketplace, how to survive as a new publication, and how to remain "in it for the
long haul".

JACQUELINE McABEE - V.P., Marketing & Promotions

With an extensive background in marketing, sales and promotion, the Vice-President of Media Solutions Group enjoys thinking outside of the box and finding creative news ways to keep the MSG clients ahead of the competition. In addition to her experience in marketing, managing the publishing of Good News Tucson has given her a unique understanding of the challenges publishers face on a daily basis, plus a complete understanding of what is most important to them.

COURTNAY VICK - Business Manager

With a natural ability to maintain organization in an industry filled with chaos, and strong "people skills", Courtnay was welcomed into Media Solutions Group in November of 2002, and partnered with the original founders in October, 2005. Courtnay has a unique ability to listen carefully to a customers needs, and determine the most advantageous way to get there. Courtnay functions as the CSR for all distribution clients, and oversees daily operations of the Tucson and Phoenix marketplaces.

JOHNNY JOHNSON - Editor, Good News Tucson Magazine

Johnny is a licensed and ordained pastor who has served in full-time pastoral ministry since 1992. He is the pastor of Pathway of Hope Foursquare Church, a church he pioneered in 2005. He is the author of Raising Great Kids, Dreaming Bigger Dreams, and numerous magazine articles. Johnny holds a B.A. from the University of California, Davis (Davis, CA), an M.A. from Simpson University (Redding, CA), and will complete his PhD from Capella University (Minneapolis, MN) in June, 2007. Johnny and his wife, Mindi, have four children, ages 6 to 12. He loves to compete in his church’s softball team and is an avid runner.

MICHAEL McABEE - Graphic / Website Design

Playing a "dual role" within the company, Michael is cross-trained on the daily aspects of Distribution and Marketing. Having the unique opportunity to ride "shotgun" with our Founder during his younger years, Michael has experienced magazine distribution first-hand. With his creativity and skills in computer technology, Michael maintains our web sites and assists both departments in staying organized, meeting deadlines and providing outstanding customer service.

PHOENIX DISTRIBUTION COORDINATORS

Media Solutions Group strongly believes that to be successful in any marketplace, you must have a member of your team with it's "finger on the pulse" of the community. Since our Corporate offices are located in Tucson, AZ we have employed a team of distribution coordinators in Phoenix, AZ that are present for each and every delivery in the Phoenix marketplace. This team DOES NOT function as an independent, but is actually employed by Media Solutions Group to ensure accountability during this process. Additionally, our Business Manager will often frequent the Phoenix marketplace to provide additional coverage when necessary.

TUCSON, PHOENIX and SURROUNDING AREA DRIVERS

Media Solutions Group is proud to recognize Jim Howard, a driver in his ninth year of distribution service with Media Solutions Group. As many publishers are aware, delivering publications in Tucson's hot weather can be challenging, and many publications often see a high turn-over of drivers. Media Solutions Group has found an unexpected way to reduce our clients expenses, and still keep drivers long term... we provide lots of work to our drivers, in a condensed area!

Traditional "burnout" occurs for drivers that cannot take time off, or who are forced to drive long distances for low dollars. We combine our distribution to enable our drivers to have shorter routes, and yet make more dollars. In turn, this "grouping" benefits everyone, and has been the foundation for our success.

Our drivers stay with us for the long haul, learning the unique intricacies of each publication and each delivery location. Many of our drivers make doing business with us a career, rather than a side-line.
